Wilfred James McGarrah

Wilfred James McGarrah, 71, passed gently in his sleep on November 12, 2025 at home in Rogers, Arkansas. James was born to James Edward and Noella (née Goulet) McGarrah in Taunton, Massachusetts on February 10, 1954.

From infancy he lived in Northwest Arkansas. James met and married the love of his life, Connie (née Hartley), in 1973 and together they had three children. James was known by many in this area as a strong man with a kind heart. By trade he was a carpenter and construction manager, but could fix, build and grow anything and would lend a hand to anyone who needed help.

James was preceded in death by his parents, beloved mother and father-in-law, siblings, and son, Michael. He is survived by his wife Connie, son Rick (Jenne), and daughter Michelle. He also leaves behind grandchildren Kira (Bryce), Malaki, Jaxon, Trinity, and Michael, as well as step-grandchildren Ian and Kai (Brendon), and great-granddaughter Gaia.

Graveside Services are planned for Tuesday, November 25 at 1:00 at Rogers Cemetery.
