William married his wife, Carol, 45 years ago in Nebraska. They raised two children, Tyler and Shannon, and they enjoyed many years together as a family. While in Nebraska, William worked for Western Electric for several years. When the family moved to Arkansas, William changed careers and began working for Glad in Rogers. He will be dearly missed by those who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Emerson and Jeanette Dappen.
William is survived by: his wife, Carol Dappen of Rogers; son, Tyler Marr (Amber) of Rogers; daughter, Shannon Jones (Ed) of Big Cabin, OK; brothers, John Dappen (Patti) of Ralston, NE, and Michael Dappen(Tracy) of Omaha, NE; sisters, Sharon Klusaw of Omaha, NE, and Linda Ostrander (Rick) of Omaha, NE. He is also survived by four grandchildren and one great-grandchild, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
