Ms. Clarke was born in Aragon, Georgia on February 2, 1930. She was preceded in death by her parents William H. Elliott and Etta Jones Elliott.
Ms.. Clarke was a member of Second Avenue Methodist church. She is survived by her sister Joyce E. Gann, and Nephew Roger McNitt; three great nieces; Melissa McNitt, Kristin McNitt and Mackenzie McNitt.
In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations be made in her memory to Second Avenue United Methodist Church, 801 E 2nd Ave, Rome, GA 30161.
A funeral service was held Tuesday, November 15, at 12:00 Noon at Second Avenue Methodist church with Pastor Millie Kim officiating. Interment followed at Aragon Cemetery in Aragon, Georgia.
The following gentlemen served as pallbearers - Roger McNitt and Jimmy Worley.
Visitation was held Monday, November 14, 2016 at Daniel’s Funeral Home from 6:00pm until 7:00pm
