I was sad to learn of Calvin’s passing. I came to know him at The Harbor, where my Mother also resided until Alzheimer’s took her away, November 2018. The first time I actually had contact with him, I was walking down the hall and noticed that he was struggling a little bit. He was in his recliner and he said his feet were cold. I went in and found a blanket nearby and covered him and made sure his feet were covered. After that we became friends. In our Mothers last months, the way she ate to some, was repulsive. She ended up at the table with Calvin and Earl and neither one of them ever said anything about her eating. Calvin kept an eye on her. I enjoyed talking to him! The video is so sweet, it is very evident of the love between him and his Eleanor! See ya later Calvin, thanks for sharing your M&Ms with me, they’re my favorite! God Bless you all in the days, weeks and months to come.
