She was born on June 21, 1946 to the late Tom Anderson Wallace and Nellie Ruth Newborn, in Powder Springs, Georgia.
She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years Ralph Michael Purcell; daughters, Shelly Wolfe (Ronald) and Michelle Simmons (Chip); sons, David Wallace, Brian Purcell and John Purcell (Annabeth); grandchildren, Jarad Sanders, Cameron Green, Andrew Wolfe, Alicia Wolfe, Sydney Simmons, Joshua Wallace (Danielle) and Marilyn Purcell. Several great-grandchildren nieces, nephews and other extended family also survive.
A visitation will be held on Monday, October 17, 2022 from one o'clock in the afternoon until three o'clock in the afternoon at Daniel's Funeral Home. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
