I knew Cynthia for many years, partly as fellow members of the DAR, but mostly through our children as schoolmates, darting in and out of each other's homes, who continued as lasting friends.

I remember Cynthia as being a kind, sweet, and gentle soul, always friendly and bubbly every time we met, either at a celebration for our children and grandchildren or elsewhere. You could see a sense of love and pride on her face. She would always greet you with a great big smile that I will forever miss.

Dear family and friends, have comfort in knowing she has a bigger smile in Heaven.

I knew her kids in high school. I can remember Friday nights watching movies at their house, and I would do her nails. (I was taking cosmetology class at that time and needed the practice. ) I also enjoyed many Sunday mornings at church with them. Cynthia is the perfect blend of honesty, love, forgiveness, and pure fun. What an incredible family who always made you feel that you belonged.
