He was born in Charleston, West VA, on December 1, 1942, the son of the late Decoe Charles Parsons and the late Pauline Virginia Detamore Parsons. He was also preceded in death by his brother; Max D. Parsons.
A long time resident of the Washington, DC area, Mr. Parsons moved to Rome in 1995 with his family. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Gearin Parsons, one daughter; Kirsten McGee and her husband Dylan, three sons; Derek C. Parsons and his wife Kate, Damien C. Parsons, and Devin C. Parsons and his wife Audrey. His sister Jan Bishop, five grandchildren, three nieces and three nephews also survive.
Daniel’s Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
