In loving memory of my cherished husband, Gerald (Jerry) Krick Pannabecker, Jr., age 65, passed away in the arms of his wife, Janet, at Hamilton Medical Center in Dalton, GA on June 28, 2016. He was surrounded by his family and friends by his side during his last and final hours.
Mr. Pannabecker was born in Reading, Pennsylvania on December 12, 1950. He was the son of the late Gerald Krick Pannabecker, Sr. and the late Roslie (Rokowski) Pannabecker.
Jerry was self-employed during his working life as a licensed building contractor and as an investor in Northwest Georgia. One of his proudest achievements was restoring a 1740’s log home that is listed on the Historical Registry. He had also obtained his real estate license due to his fondness of real estate. He loved spending time with his family, going to flea markets and Nascar racing. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force from which he received an Honorable Discharge after proudly and heroically serving his country in the Vietnam War and was also a member of the VFW.
Survivors include his wife, Janet E. (Emel) Pannabecker of Rome; son, Chad D. Pannabecker and his wife, Nicole (Thornton) Pannabecker of Seneca, SC; two step-children, Ronald K.
