Mrs. Love was born in Trion, GA. August 13, 1925. She was the daughter of the late Walter Dalton and Jessie Tutton Dalton. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Emmett Merle Love in November 2006; a daughter: Constance Jean Karnitz, and two sisters, Cleo Wood and Thelma Espy. Mrs. Love graduated from Women’s College in Milledgville, Georgia and later obtained her Master’s degree in education. She was a teacher in the Floyd County school system in Rome. Mrs. Love was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church. She was an avid traveler and loved working crossword puzzles.
Mrs. Love is survived by her son, David Dalton Love and wife, Karon of Bedford, TX; and a granddaughter, Raina Dirienzo of Irving, TX.
A graveside and interment service was held on Monday, June 8, 2015 at 1:00 PM in the West Hill Cemetery in Trion, Georgia with Rev. Lee Smollar officiating.
Daniel’s Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
