Josephine Anne "JoAnne" Waldrop

Mrs. Waldrop was born in Buffalo, New York on June 16, 1948. She was the daughter of the late Mary Jo Gardner and was also preceded in death by a sister, Mary Gardner.

Mrs. Waldrop was retired after 25 years of service as a CRNA (Anesthetist). She was an avid painter, gardener, and loving wife for 27 years to Donnie Waldrop to whom she married in 1988. JoAnne was a loving mother, grandmother and family woman.

Survivors include her husband, Mr. Donald E. (Donnie) Waldrop, her father, Robert Gardner, one son, Christopher Waldrop; three daughters, Marie Wade (Richard), Sydney Berl (Brian) and Andrea Harrelson (Jarett); three brothers, Rob Gardner (Michele), Allen Gardner (Diane) and David Gardner (Chris); three sisters, Carol Binger, Nancy Gardner and Marcy Johnson (Kevin); four grandchildren, Harrison, Mitchell, Ethen and Mason.

A rosary was held Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church and a funeral mass followed at 12:00 noon with father Patrick Kingery officiating. A reception then followed in the parish hall.
