

Born in Rome, GA on October 8 1940, Kay had courageously battled Multiple Sclerosis for over thirty years. She attended Rome High School and Emory University, where she was member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. After graduating from Emory, she worked as a social worker for Fulton County. Later, she worked as a preschool teacher at Winters Chapel United Methodist Church. Kay loved to shop and was an avid reader.
Ms. Findley is survived by her son John H. Findley, III ( Brenda) of Atlanta, her daughter Anne Chason Findley Ozmer (Joseph) of Atlanta, three grandchildren, Turner, Jack and Joseph, and three sisters Alice ( Wayne) Grubb, of Rome, Anne ( Ron) Ginsberg, of Savannah, and Martha ( Berry) Pullen, of Rome. She is also survived by her niece McCall Ginsberg, and nephews Andrew (Jessica) Ginsberg, Tim (Gigi) Grubb, Gary (Christine) Grubb and Brent (Jennifer) Pullen.
The family will receive friends at the Daniels Funeral Home, 901 E. 2nd Ave., in Rome on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Daniels Funeral Home on Thursday, April 28, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Mike Jones officiating. Interment will follow at the Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Rome. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Georgia Chapter, 1117 Perimeter Center West, Suite E101, Atlanta, GA 30338.
