Mrs. Smith was born on March 9, 1948 in Rome, GA. Daughter of the late Willigham and Mary Josephine Smith. She enjoyed landscaping and was an associate of Lowe’s. Mrs. Smith never met a stranger and was a generous, kind hearted friend to everyone she met.
Survivors include; her husband, John Carl Smith of Rome, GA. Two sons; Michael Mood Williams of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Edward Park Williams of Charlotte, NC. Grandchild; Julia Nicole Williams of Mt. Pleasant, SC. Brother, Willingham Smith of Atlanta, GA. Sister, Mary Smith Justice of Atlanta, GA.
The family will receive friends at Daniels Funeral Home on Sunday November 24, 2013 from the hours of 2 PM until 4 PM. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. The family request that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation, P. O. Box 1848, Longmont, CO 80502.
