Linda Faye Raiford

Mrs. Raiford was born in Pickens County, GA., January 1, 1947. She was the daughter of the late Luke and Lois Johnson. She was also preceded in death by her husband Ronald Raiford who died in 2011. Mrs. Raiford graduated from Pickens County High School. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and the Fellowship Sunday School Class. She loved reading, crafts, her family, her friends and her dog Shadow.

Survivors include her two sons, Scott Raiford of Woodstock, GA., and Chris Raiford of Rome, one sister, Midge Raiford and her husband Larry of Cartersville; one brother, Edward Johnson and his wife Susan of Jasper, GA.; a brother-in-law, Mark and Phyllis Raiford of Rome; Grandchildren, Emily Raiford, Marie Raiford, Adam Raiford, and Ryan Raiford; two great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews, Casey Raiford, Chip Raiford, Shane Raiford, Zack Raiford and Allison Dykes. The family would also like to mention these special friends and neighbors, Ginette, Betty, Suzie, Sally, Martha and Polly.

Services for Mrs. Raiford were conducted Tuesday June 28, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the Thomas B. Griffin Chapel of Daniel’s Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Hopper officiating. The family received friends from 1 pm to 2 pm at Daniel’s. Interment will follow at Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.
