

  I knew the odds were against you. But I  hoped we had time in this battle and hopefully win it, dad. When I met you I had my reservations with my mom's friend. But you kept a positive outlook and give me time. Before I knew it you became my dad and I never felt less than your daughter. Amazing loving, forgiving, and giving Pop and Grandpa you have always been. 

You led me to god strengthen my faith with your teachings. No words can ever do you, justice dad. You always give a hand or dollar to anyone without any expectations. You thought of others while in the hospital people who needed help or my mom's well-being. How sad you were not able to help someone with their cost of surgery back in Guatemala. 

  The smiling optimist who never gives up even with the odds against you. You were never further than call away no matter what or the distance. Although I feel our time was cut short   I will never forget the countless hours we spent together dad. December will never be the same so bittersweet for so many reasons. 

 Thank you for being the very best father to me.

My favorite memory of Marcelo was when I was a child. My sisters, cousins, and I would play Halo on the Xbox at his house. And randomly he would check in and see our progress. It may not sound like a huge deal, but I will always associate playing Halo (the video game) with Marcelo! And Halo is the only horror alien video game I will love and still play to this day. And trust me, if you ask anyone that I talked to about Halo, I always mention my uncles name. 

Thank you Marcelo for being kind and friendly to everyone. Even though I haven’t seen you in many years, I love you and Rest In Peace.

Una gran persona, un gran  hombre.  Siempre mostró ser una persona humilde, honesta.

Marcelo asistió en la boda de Elio y Rachel.

He conocido a muchas personas en mi vida, pero no había nadie tan excepcional como el hombre que amaba. Marcelo era un hombre de corazón puro. Fue  un hombre de muchas aventuras. Le gustaba contar chistes y dar muchos paseos por hermosas montañas. Compartiendo sus palabras de sabiduría a quien siempre quiso escuchar. Fue un padre para muchos y fue amado por muchos más. El hombre que amaba en Marcelo  te daba un paseo en un día lluvioso. Tenía un corazón enorme que se reflejaba en la sonrisa que se puede ver en sus fotos. El hombre que amaba es un hombre que dio su vida para ayudar a los demás y le apasionaba amar a Dios.

El hombre que amaba  daría  su último para ayudar a alguien en la calle a comer. Daba su último dólar para que alguien pudiera comer. El hombre que amaba te daba su última camisa para que no tuvieras frío. Dio a las personas sin hogar todas las oportunidades que pudo sin dudarlo.

El hombre que amaba  abrió su casa o proporcionó otras formas de refugio,para que la genteno durmiera en susautos. Puso a los demás antes que a sí mismo. Tal como Dios lo habría hecho. Ese es el hombre que quiero ser.

El hombre que amé  lleva su vida por fe. Nunca guardó  rencor ni  juzgó a un hombre, sino que abrió su corazón para amar a los demás.   Te amaba si eras su hijo, de sangre o si apenas te conocía.  Ese es el tipo de hombre que quiero ser.

Si hubiera más personas que vivieran sus días difundiendo amor, paz y tuvieran un corazón alegre. Una persona que siempre escucharía   y siempre sería extrañada porque era amada por su pasión por ayudar a quienes lo rodeaban a tener un mejor día. Una persona que trabajó para ser un mejor hombre y mostrar su amor por sus hijos, su familia y Dios. Ese es el hombre que quiero ser. Si pudiera ser al menos el uno por ciento de lo que Marcelo mostró de su amor a Dios y a los demás. Seré  bendecido,  y estoy extremadamente desconsolado por uno de mis mejores  amigos,  pero doy gracias a Dios que pude disfrutar del hombre que amab

I have met many people in my life but there was no one as exceptional as the man I loved. Marcelo was a man with a pure heart. He was a man of many adventures. He enjoyed telling jokes and taking many walks through beautiful mountains. Sharing his words of wisdom to who ever wanted to listen. He was a father to many and was loved by many more. The man I loved in Marcelo would give you a ride on a rainy day. He had a huge heart that reflected in the smile that can be seen in his pictures. The man I loved is a man that gave his life to help others and was passionate about loving God.

The man I loved would give his last to help someone on the street have a meal. He would give his last dollar so someone could eat. The man I loved would give you his last shirt so you wouldn’t be cold. He gave to the homeless every chance he could without hesitation. 

The man I loved opened his home or provided other ways of shelter, so people wouldn’t sleep in their cars. He put others before himself. Just like God would have done. That’s the man I want to be.

The man I loved lead his life by faith. He never held a grudge or judged a man but opened his heart to love others. He loved you if you were his child, blood or if he barely met you. That’s the kind of man I want to be. 

If there were more people that lived their days spreading love, peace and had a joyful heart. A person that would always listen and would always be missed because he was loved for his passion to help those around him have a better day. A person that worked at being a better man and showing his love for his children, his family and God. That’s the man I want to be. If I could be at least one percent of what Marcelo showed from his love of God and others. I will be blessed, and I am extremely heartbroken to lost one of my best friends, but I thank God I was able to enjoy the man that I loved.




RIP Marcelo Chajon que descanse en paz, gracias por el tiempo que paso junto a nuestra familia, aunque fue corto, nos faltaron muchas aventuras por descubrir, proyectos por terminar, pero su recuerdo vivirá por siempre en nuestras vidas. 

no hay suficientes palabras para describir lo bueno  y amoroso que fue' ,un lider decidido yo le llamaba el hombre de hierro,cuando el.prometia algo lo cumplia,aunque le costara fue un hombre que amo' a Dios y El se lo llevo porque  tuvo testimonio de aver agradado a Dios,mo le decimos adios si no asta  .luego.Hno.dejaste huella en muchos corazones Amen.

Hermano Marcelo Chajon fue siempre un maestro de la palabra de Dios. Le agradezco su amistad y por siempre apoyarnos. Thank you Smiley ☺
