Margaret was the youngest of 5 children born to Will and Dora Sawyer of Dothan Alabama. Her family relocated to Columbus, Georgia and she grew up and called Columbus home.
She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings; Lillian Jenkins of Covington, GA., Bobby Sawyer of Dothan, AL., Mary Smith and Barbara Robinson both of Columbus.
She is survived by her loving husband Barry J. Jones of Lindale; daughters, Candace McCormack of Rydal, Ga. and Kimberly Millwood of Pine Mountain, GA.; granddaughters Haley Brewster of Temple, Ga. and Madison McCormack of Marietta, GA.; and 3 great-grandchildren. Numerous aunts, cousins, nieces, nephew survive in addition to many friends.
A visitation will be held Monday evening at Daniel's Funeral Home February 20, 2023 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. A graveside service will be held Tuesday February 21, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at the Bowden City Cemetery in Bowden, GA. with Rev. Lee Smollar officiating.
