Marie was born in Rome, Georgia and has continued to be a faithful resident to the Rome/Armuchee area for her entire 58 years of life. She was a devoted mother to two sons, Benjamin P. Cross, and Will C. Cross. She is also survived by three brothers,a sister, 3 neices, and 3 nephews. Tommy Aycock (brother), Barry Aycock (brother), Mike Aycock (brother), Donna Brown (sister), Page Wade (neice), Becky Tilton (neice), Susan Wade (neice), Brian Fuller (nephew), Joey Brown (nephew), and Mark Aycock (nephew who unfortunately preceded her in death).
A memorial service was held Friday September 9, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Thomas B. Griffin Chapel of Daniel’s Funeral Home with the Rev. Doug Crumbly officiating.
