Mary L Baker

2025.

Mary was born in 1923 in Rome and would have been 102 years old

on December 1, 2025.

She was married to her husband Clyde Baker for over 50 years and

he predeceased her in January of 1999.

She was also pre-deceased by four (4) sisters; Helen Bird, Elizabeth

Smith, Edith Mowry and Tootsie Ellis plus a brother Raymond Ellis, Jr

who died at 6 years old.

She is survived by a nephew, Leland "Lee" Mowry III of St. Mary's, GA

and a niece Harriet Mowry Ball of Rome, GA.

Mary worked for over 30 years for State Mutual Insurance Company

in Rome.

Mary was an active member of Trinity By The River Church until her

health prevented her from attending church anymore.

However, her friends from Trinity visited her in her home regularly

after she could no longer attend church.

She loved to travel and was always willing to talk about her trips to

Europe with her husband Clyde and friends and of all the countries

they visited, she loved Italy most.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that any donations that you

might want to make be made to Trinity By The River Church of Rome.

A Memorial Service will be held for Mary Baker at 2:00pm, Thursday,

October 30th at Daniels' Funeral Home.
