Patricia Ann Roberson

Mrs. Roberson was born in Rome, Georgia August 31, 1938, daughter of the late Willie Fred McBurnett, SR., and Josie Mae Touchstone McBurnett. She was also preceded in death by her husband Bobby Eugene Roberson on September 20, 1993 to whom she was married for 34 years, four brothers; Derrell McBurnett, Jack McBurnett, Ralph McBurnett and George Lynn McBurnett.

Mrs. Roberson loved gardening. She loved cats, especially her cats, and loved her family very much. She was a member of East Rome Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons; Robin E. Roberson and his wife Marilyn of Silver Creek, Danny L. Roberson and his wife Lynette of Silver Creek, one daughter; Debbie Roberson Jarrett and her husband Kenneth of Silver Creek, one brother; Fred “Rabbit” McBurnett and his wife Bobbie Lee of Rome, two sisters; Dot Tudor and her husband Frank of Armuchee, and Willie Jo Wright of Lawrenceville, four grandchildren; Tiffany Payne, Jason Roberson, Dayln Roberson and Melanie Summers, two great grandchildren; Aaron Payne and Haven Summers and one special niece; Yvonne Wright.

Services for Mrs. Roberson were held Sunday October 12, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in the Thomas B. Griffin Chapel of Daniel’s Funeral Home with Rev. Marvin Jackson officiating. Interment followed at Floyd Memory Gardens. The family received friends Sunday morning from at Daniel’s Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour. Those serving as pallbearers were Dalyn Roberson, Jason Roberson, Aaron Payne, Justin Smith and Ryan Smith.
