Mr. Rigoberto Henriquez Velasquez, age 70, of Rome, Georgia, passed away surrounded by family on Saturday, September 26, 2026. He was born on April 30, 1956, in Choloma Cortes, Honduras. He was the son of the late Daniel Henriquez Solorzano and Aurelia Velasquez.
Mr. Henriquez Velasquez is survived by his loving wife, Nixza Esmeralda Padilla; children Marta Henriquez (Jorge Morales), Wendy Henriquez (Manuel Alvarez), Josue Henriquez (Veronica Henriquez) and Kenia Henriquez (John Ogbit); 11 grandchildren and many other extended family members also survive.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Henriquez Velasquez is preceded in death by his parents.
A graveside service for Mr. Rigoberto Henriquez Velasquez will be held on Friday, October 2, 2026, at 2:30 in the afternoon at Eastview Cemetery located on Kingston Ave. in Rome, Georgia.
The family of Mr. Henriquez Velasquez will receive family and friends on Thursday, October 1, 2026, from 5 o’clock in the afternoon until 9 o’clock in the evening at Daniel’s Funeral Home.
