

Rose Fabian Molnar, age 100, passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2018 in Rome, Georgia.
Mrs. Molnar was born in Toledo, Ohio, April 30, 1917. She was the daughter of the late Dennis Fabian and Elizabeth Takacs Fabian. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph A. Molnar, and her son, Joseph D. Molnar.
During WWII she worked in the Willy’s Overland plant riveting airplane wings. She was truly Rosie the Riveter. She was a wife and homemaker for most of her life. During her 100 years she was very independent and never gave up.
Survivors include her son, Richard Molnar (Barbara) of Rome, GA, her daughter-in-law, Marsha Molnar, and four grandchildren, Jennifer Kopfman (Kevin) Jon Molnar (Sarah), Cindy Weaver (Graham), and Kate McCosh (Sean). Also surviving are 11 great-grandchildren.
The family wants to thank the Brookdale Senior Living community for 2 ½ years of friendship and compassion. Plans for inurnment in Toledo, Ohio will be announced at a later date.
