Sadie M Wood

Mrs. Wood was born in Villanow, Walker County, Georgia on May 30, 1937, daughter of the late Cecil & Maudie Goodson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by ten siblings, her loving husband of 53 years, John W. Wood, her beloved son John Michael Wood and her special grandson Brandon Scott Ingram.

Mrs. Wood was of baptist faith, and a homemaker who loved working in her yard. She was very active in several senior citizen groups and a long time member of the Ga Mt. Music Club.

Survivors include her daughter, Sherryl Wood Ingram (Jerry), granddaughter Amanda Brooke Ingram, great grandsons Bryson Ingram and Kody Roper, her very special friend Bob Young, and many nieces and nephews.Mrs. Sadie Mae Wood will be laid to rest at a graveside service officiated by Rev. Larry Hamilton (nephew) which will be held at Floyd Memory Gardens, Rome , Ga on May 26, 2021 at 1:00 p.m.

The family will receive friends at Daniels Funeral Home, 901 East Second Ave, Rome, Ga 30161, Wednesday, May 26 from 11:00 - 12:30. Other hours will be at her residence.

Pallbearers are asked to assemble before 12:30 at Daniels Funeral Home and include: Bryson Ingram, Kody Roper, Bob Young, Barry Wood, Marty Goodson and Jeff Payne.
