Mrs. Stansell was born in Rome on April 5, 1931, the daughter of the late Sanders Vann Hall and Essie Viola Smith Hall. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Stansell, a grandson, Jesse Lipnack, and four brothers, Gene, Bill, Ernest and Joe Hall.
Mrs. Stansell was a beautician and was associated with Desoto Beauty Shop for many years. She was a charter member of the Garden Lakes Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and was the leader of the W.M.U. for many years. She also enjoyed gardening and working in her yard.
Survivors include her son, Vann Stansell, Rome; her daughter, Jill Stansell Lipnack (Peter), Cartersville; three brothers, Ron Hall and Glenn Hall, both of Rome, and Wayne Hall, Orlando, FL; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the graveside on Saturday, April 2, 2016, at the Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery attended by family and close friends.
