She is survived by her children Duane V. Shiflett (January) of Cartersville, Amber Blalock Park of Rome, brothers Allen Smithberger (Beth) Richmond Hill, Jimmy Smithberger (Jodi) of Villa Rica, and Tommy Smithberger; and grandchildren Audrey and Jack Shiflett. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Francis Smithberger and Patricia Jean Vaughan.
The family received visitors at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church Parish Hall, on Tuesday, July 16, 2013, from 5-7 p.m. No funeral services will be held. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Heyman Hospice P.O. Box 163, Rome, GA 30162-0163.
