Mr. Malone was the son of the late Cecil Cyrus Malone, Sr., and Virginia Bowcock Malone. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Myril Holloway Malone.
Survivors include his sister, Margaret Jordan, Cumming, GA; two sons, William Malone, Jr., Rome, and Ray and his wife Judy Malone, Cartersville; three daughters, Nancy and her husband Dan Yearout, Ringgold, Judy and her husband Brandon Fuqua, Canton, and Pat and her husband Steve Mullen, Rome; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
