Mrs. Hawkins was born in Rome, GA on April 18, 1944. She was the daughter of the Late Wesley Troup Turner and Frances Ludie Camp. She was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Jerry Turner.
Mrs. Hawkins was a native to Floyd County. She was a critical care nurse at Redmond Regional, Floyd Medical, South Miami, and retired from Kindred Hospitals.
Survivors include her husband Harold Hawkins, daughter Christy Corbin, and two sons Grant Hawkins and Shon Massey.
The family received friends Thursday August 10, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Daniels Funeral Home.
