It is with great sadness that we announce the recent passing of our beloved mother, Lavina Jean Matheson McLean, peacefully and surrounded by her family. Pre-deceased by her son, Arnold Jr., she is survived by her son, Brian McLean and her daughter, Donna Anderson, as well as 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She was 3 weeks away from her 96th birthday.
Lavina was known for her dignity, grace and kindness to everyone. She was a pillar of strength to her family, her loyalty and steadiness unshakeable. As a devoted supporter to her husband, Arnold McLean Sr., she was a constant fixture at Lorraine Golf Club for many, many years, working side by side with her family. Dearly loved by all of her family members, she will be greatly missed.
Given the current pandemic concerns, funeral arrangements will be private.
