Andrei Both

Born as a precious gift from God to Iacob and Elizabeth Both on February 18th, 1999, in the city of Oberwart, Austria, Andrei passed away on October 15th, 2023. In 2005, Andrei and his whole family immigrated to the United States where he settled in the Sacramento, CA area. Growing up Andrei had a passion for life that touched the hearts of everyone that he knew. He was kind and loving, and will be missed by so many. He attended Twin Oaks Elementary and went on to graduate from Rio Linda High School. As a youth, Andrei was a member of Emanuel Romanian Pentecostal Church, Sacramento where he played the trumpet in the church band. During the last couple of years, he attended Doxa Church in Rocklin, CA. He loved going on runs and playing basketball with brothers and friends. He also played for his high school where he was awarded player of the year during freshman year. Above all, Andrei loved the Lord and expressed his faith in Jesus Christ to those around him through words and actions.

Andrei is survived by his parents, Elizabeth and Iacob Both, his sisters Gabriela, Elisabeth and husband David, his brothers Raul, Beniamin, Elisei and wife Lavinia, Daniel and wife Krista, Alexander, Samuel and wife Amanda, and his beloved daughter Chiyomi. He also leaves behind his nephews Jonah, Isaiah, Aiden, Benjamin, Elijah and Mathias, his nieces Adeline, Emily, and Juliette, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins from Romania, Austria, and the United States. We miss you so much already, Dede. Our hearts are broken, but we’ll all be together again one day our little brother.
