Barbara Moureaux

Born in Redwood City in 1926 to Judge E.I. & Florence McAuliffe, Barbara McAuliffe Moureaux passed away peacefully in her home after a courageous battle with cancer on August 10, 2013. She was a third generation native Californian. She met her future husband Jacques Moureaux in La Honda, CA and was happily married for 26 years until his death in 1973. She worked as a homemaker all her life and proudly raised five children. She is survived by her daughters Janet Moureaux and Kate Maloney (Wayne) and sons Joseph Moureaux and Paul Moureaux (Celeste); ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews and cousins that she held dear to her heart. Her eldest son, Thomas, preceded her in death. Barbara was always an active member of her church parish. She was an avid gardener, knitter and stamp collector, but mostly she enjoyed spending time with her family. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 15, 2013 from 4:00-7:00pm at Lambert Funeral Home, 400 Douglas Blvd., Roseville, CA. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, August 16, 2013 at 12:30 pm at St. Clare's Catholic Church, 1950 Junction Blvd., Roseville, CA.
