

"Betty" Jane Alice Ebey Cowan was born in Chicago, Illinois on March 25, 1925 and died on October 28, 2012 in Roseville, California. Betty is predeceased by her husband, Harold Burton and her son, John. She is survived by her children, Mary(Michael), Christine(Enrico), Denise(James) Kathleen, George(Laurie) and Lawrence (Nicki), Grandchildren, Kaaren, Joshua,Sarah,Samuel,Jackson,Ruth,Rachael,Rebecca,Matthew,Nathaniel,Jessica,Jamie,Rachel,Nicholas,Brian,and Douglas, Great grandchildren, Noah, Ava, Ryder and Danielle. Betty was a fiercely independent, courageous, and artistically minded woman of many opinions she often vocalized. She worked as an LVN at Pennisula Hospital, sang in the St. Dunstans Choir, and retired to Lake Wildwood where she was involved in "The Wildwood Players" and "Music in the Mountains". She loved music, theater, her faith, but especially family gatherings.She made the best minestrone soup. We love you, Mom. Visitation will be held on Friday November 2nd, 2012 from 4-7 p.m. with a Recitation of the Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Lambert Funeral Home Chapel, 400 Douglas Blvd, Roseville,California. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 3rd, 2012 at noon at St Rose Catholic Church, 615 Vine Ave, Roseville,California.
