Paula, Marty, Cal and Cindy, I am so sorry to hear about Cal's passing.  Seems like I have known him forever.  I cherish all the memories of him and Dad and all the other cronies and their adventures.  You won't see a whole lot of people out there that have a true and genuine friendship like the guys did, they would be there for each other no matter what! As they have all aged, moved on and some have passed, it made their friendship even stronger.  I know his friendship has meant alot to my Dad and he will be sorely missed!  Cal - may you rest in peace, riding the best horse - enjoying your new life in the wild outdoors!

Dear Paula and Family, I am so sorry for your loss of Cal.  Brook passed away on May 18, 2008 and Charlie and I know how hard it is to lose someone that you love and depend on to be there daily to share and love.  If there is anything that we can do to help during this time please contact  us. We have many good memories of you and boys and Cal's invites for food and fun at his place.  Remember the fishing with Brenna's fishing line caught in tree with a fish on the end of it and Cal just took charge and fixed the problem.  He always had a cup for everyone to have coffee and happy eyes.  His happy eyes with a sparkle are what I will remember. Cal, you know I always thought you were born 150 years too late. That you would have fit right in the middle of the mountains along with "Jeremiah Johnson" and all those other men out hunting and trapping and fishing and living off the land! We used to laugh about it...you and I. Now I weep. My condolence, dear Paula, sent with love.
