A note to Carl's brother Dennis from Mike Lynott and other friends in Boise. May Carl rest in peace.

I will always remember our trip to the "frog bond" when my dad was visiting from Finland many many years ago. Dad did not speak a word of english, this was not a problem for Carl as he and dad played pool went for walks, explored the pond and cooked together....they were talking in their own native language but in the end they spoke the same language. Carl your gifts were many here on earth. We will miss you.

Carl was always a joy to be around.  Originally, I knew him through his business association, Associated Buyers' Cooperative.  After he fell in love with Melinda, he became a regular at my CPA firm.  I treasure the memories of Carl in my life.
