I just recently heard of Dales passing. He and I went to school together through the 8th grade. He gave me my first kiss, we were five years old on the playground of Northmead Elementary school. He was one of the kindest and sweetest men I even had the pleasure of knowing. My thoughts and prayers reach out to his family and friends. May he rest in peace.

I remember Dale (and David) as the little guys at the Selee residence when I would come over to talk with Coach Selee for a story for the Patterson Irrigator.   (I covered high school sports.)   I'm not surprised to read that he emulated the best qualities of his parents and had such a profound impact on his friends and acquaintances.  My heartfelt condolences to Carl and Pat Selee,
who were so kind to me when I was young.

Just heard the news and can't convey the disbelief... far too young. Will always remember the times spent with Dale and the gang playing whatever sport was in season during our Las Palmas and PJHS days... He was a natural born leader and a good friend. I can't imagine my youth without him and can't overstate the impact the Selee family had on my life in particular and the Westside Communities in general... I learned so much from each of you and humbly offer my heartfelt sympathy during this difficult time.
