Deborah Laurene Fraizer, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully at home on October 24, 2026, surrounded by family and love, following a battle with pancreatic cancer. She was 77.
Born on December 12, 1948, in Sacramento, California, Deborah grew up in Sacramento before raising her family in Truckee with her husband, Larry Fraizer, the love of her life. Together, they shared countless adventures and always seemed to find a little trouble along the way. Her family finds comfort in imagining them reunited in heaven, off on their next adventure and getting into trouble together again.
Deborah was funny, adventurous, and full of love for her children and grandchildren. Her faith in God was an important part of her life. She loved the ocean, road trips, a good book, and the conversations and friendships that came with book clubs. She cherished the spirit of Christmas and loved baking. Music and theater also brought her joy, especially favorites like Mary Poppins, The Sound of Music, and Yentl.
Her adventurous spirit once took her skydiving with her daughter, Leah, as a Mother’s Day gift—an unforgettable experience they shared.
Above all, Deborah loved her family. She often told them, “I love you to the moon and back again,” words they will carry with them always. She also had a quiet way of saying those three words: three squeezes of the hand, meaning “I love you.” That simple gesture will forever hold a place in their hearts. Her gift for finding four-leaf clovers leaves another treasured reminder of her in the world around them.
Deborah is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Leah Fraizer, and son-in-law, Sean O’Shea; her son, Steven Fraizer, and daughter-in-law, Jenny Van-Brunt; and her cherished grandchildren, Miami Whitehouse, Savannah O’Shea, Serena Raymond, Louis Pannell, Andrew Fraizer, Mason Fraizer, and Jackson Frost.
Her humor, faith, and adventurous spirit live on in those who loved her. Her family will love her to the moon and back again, always.
A service and celebration of Deborah’s life will be held on December 12, 2026—her birthday—at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 211 Estates Dr., Roseville, CA 95678.
All who knew Deborah or her family are warmly welcome. She touched so many lives, and we invite everyone to come together to share memories and celebrate her life and the love she gave.
