Mother it is now SUnday, ou have been gone for 1 week and it seems like an eternity.  I miss you somuch.  I would not give up our time together for anything.  I love you so much, but I know that you are in a much betther place with your Lord where you are not suffering any more.  How nice it must be to be with Dad & family and be able to walk without pain.  You will always be in my heart.Love you Mother.  Rest in the arms of Jesus.

Mom, I love you very much and I will always miss you.  I remember when you were living by you a few years ago and I would call you every morning and remind you to take your pills, and when you moved to sisters house I would call you every other day to check on you even though I knew your were well taken care of.  Every morning and at night I would pray and ask God to watch over you and take care of you.  Now I don't have to ask, because I know that he is taking care of you.  Now I still catch myself asking God to look over you. There is a void in my heart that will be hard to fill. I love you and you will always be in my thoughts.  Your son Bobby

Aunt Cleo, We have so many great memories of our time we spent with you. Your great dinners, getting to see how you grew your great garden and ground your own corn, playing with our three little girls in the park and taking us all to the zoo. Our time spent with you was the highlight of our trip and we have never forgot about the love you poured out to our family. We will miss you until that day we can all be together again. I never got to meet you but enjoyed chatting with about Christ and life and have used your dressing recipe for years. Dear Cleo, you will be so sorely missed by all the lives you have touched.  You taught us to be brave and to love life to the fullest and to reach out to others less fortunate.  We remember your visit and cherish the time when we sat at the beach and chatted about your favorite recipes and how you loved playing catcher on your baseball team. Cleo. We both are sad to hear of your passing. You were the main reason for us joining First Southern Baptist Church. The first time we visited, you took us under your wing and guided us.  Every time we would visit you, you and Mary Elizabeth would not let us leave unless we took something home. Be it banana nut bread or homemake jam. And your lemons made the best lemon pie around. As much as you will be missed, as Christians, we know that this is a temporary separation and that we will be together again in heaven when our time comes. Grandma Chaney was one of the most wonderful people I've ever known in my life! I met her when I was a teenager at church. I attended every week her Sunday school classes. I spent many hours at her house listening to her lessons and stories. I helped plant pumpkin seeds in her garden. I learned so much from her. I am so thankful and feel so very blessed that I knew her. She was the first person I knew that was a missionary. If not for grandma Chaney I would of never went on my first mission trip to Brazil. I love her like she was my real grandma. The memories and photos along with all the seeds of Christ's love will continue to live on through the lives of all those she touched.

It gives me peace to know that Mrs Chaney is in the arms of our Lord Jesus Christ.  The Chaney family played a large part in my becoming a Christian and I hold many fond memories of a family that went above and beyond to be there for anyone. May she rest in peace.  My prayers are with her family.
