

in Nampa, Idaho, passed away on
May 24th, 2014 in Auburn, California at the
age of 95 years. Previously Gene worked as
a Roofing Contractor, but spent his later
years active in Land Development. He
proudly served his country through the
United States Army, and was a Pearl Harbor
Survivor. His memberships included the Elks,
Midway Veterans and the American Legion.
Gene is survived by his cherished wife of
63 years, Betty J Parkinson, loving children,
Carolyn Arnett, Gussie-Donna Parkinson
(Ron Wilson) Joan Reynolds, Roger Steiner,
and Lee Jeff Parkinson (Nancy). His brother,
Don Parkinson, sister, Mildred Cole and Many
loving grandchildren, numbering 83-5
generations as well as nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday May 30th
from 1-7 p.m. at Lambert Funeral Home
Chapel followed by services on Saturday
May 31st at 10:00 a.m. at Lambert Funeral
Home Chapel, 400 Douglas Blvd, Roseville,CA.
Burial with military honors to follow services
at Mount Vernon memorial Park,
8201 Greenback Lane, Fair Oaks,CA.
