Ken grew up in the Loomis area and graduated from Del Oro 1963. He was a resident of Rancho Cordova CA for the last 47 years. Ken’s survived by his wife of 59 years, Janice Hutchings Maniord, sister Becky Maniord Koester (Ken) and brother Mark Maniord (Tricia). Sister-laws Joan Hutchings Munch (Ralph), Jerilyn Hutchings, Jill Weathers and Brother-in-law Jay Hutchings, He was a fun and loving Uncle to a multitude of Nieces and Nephews (grand and great).
Ken retired from the California State Police/Highway Patrol after more than 30 years of service. He was an avid deer hunter and outdoorsman. His favorite pastime in retirement was cruising with his sweetie Janice. They recently completed a 22-day cruise to Alaska.
