Ken spent his working career doing many different things, starting out as a logger, then a saw mill worker in Forest Hill, and he ended his career as an accountant for the Franchise Tax Board for 20 years.
He is survived by his wife, Eileen Petifer, step-daughter, Diana King, sister, Linda Rollings, grandchildren, Andrew Bartlett and Samuel Thompson, granddaughters-in-law, Stephanie Bartlett and Briana Thompson, 4 great-grandchildren, one sister-in-law, 2 nephews, 2 nieces, and his mother-in-law, Hazel Padgett.
A graveside service will be held at Sylvan Cemetery in Citrus Heights on Monday, March 13th at 2:00pm.
