Jim, 81, of Roseville, CA, passed away at home on Sunday, October 11, 2015 surrounded by his family. He was born August 28, 1934 in Downs, KS. He married the former Merilyn Sims on October 10, 1959. He was predeceased by his mother Orpha (Sally) and father, Donald Robinson. He is survived by his loving wife Merilyn, daughters, Susan Yarbrough, Laurie Frank, Leanne Henderson, and brother, Don Robinson, as well as five grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Jim served as a signalman in the US Navy for four years and retired from the Southern Pacific Railroad in 1996 after 43 years as a switchman. Jim and Merilyn enjoyed RV’ing with family and friends for many years. Jim was a life member of the Roseville Elks Lodge. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, October 15 and Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday October 16, at Lambert Funeral Home, 400 Douglas Blvd., Roseville, CA, followed by burial at Roseville Cemetery.
