Linda was the youngest of the two children, sister to Judy Garcia. The family resided in many places in California. Growing up, Linda was active
with the Jobs Daughters thru the Masons Lodge in Fair Oaks, CA. She graduated from Rancho Cordova High School in 1965. Linda had earned
her AA Degree, and her Esthetician License. She also had a gift of working in the Realty field. Among many of her other talents, she had a passion
and soft spot for animals. She had many friends she would be available for if they needed someone they could count on and trust to house sit for
them and take care of their animals for them. When she was not taking care of her commitments to others, she made sure to take time out for herself.
She loved to go on adventures, and travel whenever she could. Some of the places her travels took her, were to France, Australia, Japan, and the Great
White North ( Alaska) and to England. Among the daily routines, and commitments, Linda was always known to have a smile, and could make a person
laugh even when they were having a bad day. She strongly believed, laughter was the best thing to get through any rough time. She did not believe in having
negativity in your life. That was just not who she was. In 1990, Linda was diagnosed with what would be her first fight with cancer. After doctors were able
to find it in the early stages, with treatment and surgery, Linda was given the news that she was in remission. In 2008, she was once again diagnosed with
cancer for the second time. Again, she took the news head on with the I can beat this attitude. She fought with every ounce of strength and determination
she had. Unfortunately, on October 15, 2015 the cancer won the battle. Her doctors, nurses and all medical staff were amazed with her can do spirit, and
strength, determination, and will power to fight. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Lee England, Margaret D. (Rostad) England, and her
sister Judy Garcia. She is survived by her son, Troy Lee Alexander. Her niece, Betty Ford, and her Nephew, Danny Garcia. Linda touched many lives through
out her life. She made many wonderful friendships along the way. Bobbi Knapp, was like a sister to Linda. A friendship that was still going strong after 30 plus years.
She will be truly missed by each and every one that Linda touched in all our lives.
