Lonnie was preceded in death by his father, Clyde Armour; his mother, Shirley Armour; his in-laws, Nolan and Betty Bass; his brother, Wayne Armour; and his sister, Connie Armour Buress.
He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Nola Armour; his daughter, Trina Fickling (Kirk); stepdaughters Amanda Stanley (Zack) and Lauren Stanley (Katie); brothers Danny Armour (Shania) and David Armour (Gilda); sister Ruth Willis (John); grandchildren Heather, Vince, Tyler, Camden, and Devyn; as well as countless nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Lonnie enjoyed riding his motorcycle and bicycle, traveling to Hawaii and Disneyland, and, most of all, spending time with his family and friends. He cherished the simple moments, and the memories made with the people he loved.
Among Lonnie’s greatest accomplishments was the life he built with those around him. He was a devoted and loving husband to Nola for 32 years, a dedicated and exemplary employee of Southern Pacific and Union Pacific Railroad for 30 years, and a wonderful father to Trina, Amanda, and Lauren.
Lonnie will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His kindness, dedication, sense of adventure, and love for his family will remain in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
Family and friends are invited to a memorial on September 4th, 2026, at 11am at Lambert’s Funeral home (400 Douglas Blvd. Roseville, CA 95678).
