Honey Riolo was born in Los Angeles, CA on December 3, 1919 and peacefully entered into rest at home surrounded by family on August 7, 2014 at age 94. Beloved wife of Frank Riolo, they shared 73 years together as husband and wife. Her son Richard was the light of her life. Honey's entire life was devoted to honoring and serving her family, and her home was the central gathering spot, where she made all who entered welcome with her warm hospitality. She delighted in entertaining family and friends, and hosted most holiday occasions for many years. Her fun and witty sayings included "Sugar!", "I'll fix that with a lick and a promise!", and "That's country living!". Honey meticulously kept all books for the family farms, and she balanced the ledgers to the absolute penny for decades. She cared tenderly for family and friends, always there first if someone was in need. Family always came first. Honey was preceded in death by her dearly loved mother, Georgia Ficarrotta, her father Frank Ficarrotta, and brother, Nat Ficarrotta. She is survived by her devoted husband, Frank; loving son, Richard (Toby); caring sisters, Fina Boyd of Sacramento, and Jeannie Piancentini (Nick) also of Sacramento.
