Mary Geneva (Snoberger) Shoop was born December 12, 1928 at Bakers Summit, PA, to Isaac S. and Minnie C. Snoberger. She grew up on a 60 acre farm with 2 sisters and 4 brothers. She went to be with the Lord on February 14, 2016 in Roseville, CA.
She married George Shoop in 1948 in Southern California . In 1959, they moved to Loomis where they raised 3 daughters: Deborah Wilson (Jim), Terri Mahoney (John) and Carol Cook (Doug). She had 7 grandchildren: Michele (Dave), Jeni (Pete), Brock (Jennifer), Corey (Jenny), Mike (Sue), Erik (Marissa) and Jonathan. She had 6 great-grandchildren: Mason, Emily, Megan, Taylor and Nicole. She was preceded in death by her husband George Shoop.
Mary enjoyed gardening, camping, fishing and especially family gatherings. Above all, she loved her family. She will be missed so much by all those who loved her. To honor Mary’s wishes, the service will be private.
