Matt can't believe a year has passed, there isn't a minute that goes by that we don't think of you there isn't a day that goes by that we don't cry. Bubba! I can't believe it's been a year. In the sence of pain, it feels like yesterday. In the sense of time, it feels a whole lot longer. I remember getting your phone calls and talking for hours. Half way through, somehow, we would always end up singing "The Dance"- Garth Brooks. It was the song we danced to at our first dance in middle school. Haha remember that? When I learned your name was Matt not George, evn though George was what I had always called you. I find myself inn certain places or doing random things and being hit by one of our amazing memories. I still can't look at a diving board without laughing. I love you Matt. You shall never be forgotten.

Matty, Its been a year since I have seen your smile, a year since I have felt your touch, a year since you were taken too soon. I know God has a plan I just selfishly wish it wasn't so soon. I miss you dear nephew.

Crazy to think that 365 days have gone by without you here to laugh when something funny happens to me, or to hug me when I'm sad... maybe it seems so surreal because to me you're still here. My daughter Evangeline Paige will be born in only a couple short weeks, and my family is well... Things keep moving on as they should. It been a long difficult sad year without you by our side. I and my whole family miss you. We were just talking about you resently. It was Ben's birthday and Robert was there with us. Through all the tears and the pain we still wish you were here but God had a plan and someday we will all see you in paradise.

Can not beleive thats it been over 4 months since you left us. Just seems like yesterday you were calling me up and asking whatcha you doing Auntie I am going to come by next week and visit you. I would give anything to have that phone ring and hear you on the other end. When someone as special as you is taken away so soon and so close to the holidays its just so hard to wrap your head around it. U would have been proud of me, I did manage to get a few good shots with are Christmas paper snowballs fights. Beamed Joe, your brother real good. As I sat back and watched everyone throwing paper all over my livingroom I swear I could hear your giggle. Life is just not the same with out you here with us. You are missed by so many people.

Well the 1st of the 2 major holiday's have passed since you have been gone and you have no idea how hard it is for you to not be here with us. To not hear your laugh, to not see your smile or to not hear the many funny jokes or stories you would tell to keep us all laughing through the night. I only have to imagine you being here with us having a beer, eating some food and playing all the games that we usually play. Happy 20th birthday Matty. There is not a day that has gone by since you left us that I do not think about you. I wish a could hear that sweet little giggle or see that cheesey grin just one last time. Life is just not the same without you here with us. You have left a big void in everyones heart. Matt, I can't believe it has been a month already since you've been taken from us. I still pray and dream that one day you will come walking through the front door with that big smile of yours saying "hey guys, did you miss me?" and giving us all hugs. I've been watching some of our family videos and can't help but smile the whole time because of how much fun we used to have. From watching our birthday where you turned 5 and you read the card and said "It's for me see, M-A-T-T-H-E-W" lol. I had to rewind that 3 or 4 times back because I was laughing so hard while tearing up at the same time. I can go on listing parts of those videos forever. Me and you had a blast watching those videos over, over and OVER again rewinding all the funny parts. I wish we could share more moments like that for the next 70 years, but sadly that won't happen.I know you'll be by all of our sides guiding us through life and watching us all to make sure were okay. We got a weekend set up where all of us cousins are getting together like old time, I'll be sure to save you a seat cause I know you'll be there smiling and making us all laugh. Matt my bro... Hunter flew down from Washington for 4 days when he heard what happened. He and I spent everyday going to the many places we had our best memories... Frisbee golf, remember 4 wheelin in Folsom, and then yeah we went out to Lincoln  cemetery a place you took us and shared your stories and damn you had your stories. Then we went out to the lake. We even went to our fav hooka bar remembering all the good times. Not the same without you. Had a hard time driving back from airport without you cuz we always made that drive together to pick up and return hunter. I try to accept your gone but it's tough, not easy bro. Your still alive in all our memories and I know you were with us in spirit this last wk- I felt it. Miss you bro.

Matt, it wasn't until a day or two after your memorial at McKinley that it seriously hit me. It's  hard to know that our lives will continue day by day while yours won't. I know each and every one of your friends would've gladly traded places with you because of the power you have over people by making them see sunshine on a rainy day. It saddens me that we weren't friends long enough to know you like so many people shared that night. I hope the next time our friends are leaving a party you remind them not to drive and just go to sleep because that's what you have always done, guided people into the right decisions. I know you will continue to watch over all of us. RIP Bro.

My sweet little angel where do I begin.. One of the greatest joys and honors of my life thus far has been the pleasure to be called your Auntie Debadee. From the day you entered into our lives you have been nothing but a ray of sunshine and a bright shooting star. Your caring soul,infectious laugh and beaming smile will forever be in my heart. Although you were taken from us way to soon and so tragically you have lived a life that most people way beyond your years never had the pleasure of experiencing. Listening to the stories over the last couple of days from your many many friends has touched my heart that they to know what a fine, caring young man you have grown to become. I am so grateful that are family has so many wonderful memories of the great times we shared together. Whether it was house-boating, jet sking and my most favorite... just hanging out around the pool and having a BBQ.
 I pray that as you enter those pearly gates to heaven you have VIP excess to a unlimited dessert buffet and swimming pool with enough water for the famous......

Matt, I have so many great memories of us as kids and hanging out that it would fill an entire book. I miss you more than you know buddy....It was not your time to head up there yet. It makes me sick to my stomach just thinking of how you were stolen from our lives like this. These past couple days I have been listening to all of the music that we used to listen to and I can't help shedding tears while singing all the lyrics. We had so many great memories, whether it was going over Nana's house and eating her famous cooking or playing in the dirt over at Grandma's house. At least now you get to see them and spend time with Grandpa and catch some big ones for us. I dont know where to start.....Matt and Alex hadnt spoken in a while but the time he did spend with our family will never be forgotten. His big bear hugs, kind words and his willingness to be there for friends through whatever. Whether it be good or bad.
