Michael Calvin Wanless

In loving memory of our dear, dear son, Mike, who was born in Portland, Oregon, and at 6 years old the family moved to Citrus Heights, California. For the past 5 years he courageously fought Cancer, it was the hardest battle of his 63 years. Michael loved to fish and camp. He especially loved fishing at the ocean with his grandson Sam and Sam's dad.

He leaved his devoted parents Cal and Pat Wanless, sister Patti (Dale) Rideout, daughters Melanie Wanless (Piette) and Michelle Wanless (Burke), grandson Samuel Matous, nephew Tracy (Melissa and great nephew Rylan) Rideout, several cousins and many good friends.

Mike was truly one of a kind, he always did his own thing and he never ever turned down a beer. Mike will forever be in our hearts and thoughts. We love you beyond words, always did and always will.

Michael will be laid to rest on Wednesday the 29th of June at 2:00pm at the family plot next to other family members at Sylvan Cemetery in Citrus Heights.

Rest in Peace dearest Michael, until we meet again.
