Phil was a passionate man who enjoyed life. He was an IBEW #595 Electrician for almost 40 years, retiring in 2005. He and Carol traveled to Spain and Portugal and lived for a short while in Arizona. He enjoyed duck hunting, pheasant hunting, trap shooting, and his automobiles, such as his Corvette Z06, his Model A, and his '68 Bronco.
Philip was extremely loving and proud of his two children. Son, Jeffrey, and daughter, Leslie Baron, her husband George, and his granddaughters Teagan and Shae. Phil is survived by his loving wife Carol and his brother Leland Apple of Arizona.
On February 4, 2017 at 11:00am, the family will receive friends at Phil's Memorial at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 5811 Walnut Avenue, Orangevale, CA. Following the service, there will be lunch at the Apple's home in Granite Bay. Donations may be made in Phil's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
