

Phil was born June 4, 1946 to Harvey and Edrie (Rowe) Harless; and married Sandy Morris on July 4, 1970. He is preceded in death by his parents as well as his brother, Gene. He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Sandy, daughters Stacey Rogers and Kelly Harless, son in law Jayson Rogers and brother John Harless.
Phil had a number of hobbies and interests. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, welding, telling jokes, watching old westerns, fixing things, tinkering in his shop, driving his truck, and talking to his friends all over the world on Amateur (ham) Radio. Above all, his favorite pastime was spending time with his family.
Some of his major achievements include graduating from Roseville High School in 1964 followed by CSU Chico in 1969, teaching high school industrial arts classes, certifying welders at Sierra College, being the owner / operator of Phil Harless Trucking, managing the fleet for Pacific Coast Building Products, and selling heavy equipment for Papé Machinery.
He was known for his sense of humor, willingness to lend a hand to anyone who needed it and he never met a stranger. He will be deeply missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Martha Riley Library Meeting Room, 1501 Pleasant Grove Blvd. Roseville, CA 95747 on June 10, 2022 from 11:00am - 1:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Prostate Cancer Foundation (pcf.org), or to the NRA (nrafoundation.org) in memory of Phil.
