Phillip Aaron Mc Coy

Phillip is preceded in death by his father Fred McCoy, his mother Colleen King, his brothers Stephen and David McCoy, and his sister Miriam Dunn. He is survived by his wife of 45 years Carmella McCoy, his daughter Elizabeth Avila, son-in-law Aaron Avila, and his beloved grandson Sorin Avila. Phillip enjoyed spending time with family and out in nature. He loved reading sci-fi novels and listening to bluegrass on Saturday mornings. He spent his working life as a computer design engineer and was a distinctly brilliant individual. He took care of his family, nuclear and extended, and believed in being good to everyone.

Family and friends are invited to his celebration of life, which will take place on April 27, 2026 from 10-12pm at the Roseville Veteran’s Memorial Hall at 110 Park Dr. Roseville, CA 95678.

An interment of his urn will follow, at Roseville Cemetery 431 Berry St, Roseville, CA 95678 at 2:00 pm.
