
Tula Becker (nee Nickols) was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on December 18, 1932 and passed away on August 18, 2016 in Fair Oaks, CA. Richard A. Becker was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on October 14, 1934 and passed away on February 9, 2017 in Fair Oaks, CA.
Tula worked as a key punch operator earlier in her career, and later as a realtor. Richard worked in the printing industry as a bookbinder, retiring in 1996 as a bindery foreman. He also worked as a union motion picture projectionist from the 1950's to 1976. Richard retired in December 1996 as a bindery foreman. He was very interested in trains, including model railroading. Tula and Richard frequently liked to cook together.
Tula, Richard and their son John traveled extensively to Greece and Germany, on cruises to the Caribbean, Hawaii, Panama Canal, Alaska, and Mexico; and made frequent trips to Reno, Lake Tahoe, and Old Sacramento.
Tula is survived by her son John, and was preceded in death by her parents Martha and William Nickols. Richard is survived by his son John, brother David, nieces Sloane, Sarah, Amelia, Jennifer, and Megan, and nephews Larry and Stephen. He was preceded in death by his parents Fern and Walter Becker, and his sisters Susan and Virginia.
Inurnment for Tula and Richard will be in Roseville Cemetery, California.
