Robert Howard Anglen was born on November 29, 1932 in Oroville, California to loving parents, Parley and Effie (Simmons) Anglen. Robert died at his home on June 2nd, 2013 in the presence of his family while on hospice care. He is survived by his cherished wife, Myrna Anglen, Sons, Randy and Gary Anglen, Sister, Darlyas Gross and many Grandsons and Great Grandsons. Robert Loved hunting, fishing, camping and hiking with his family and friends. He especially enjoyed the friendships that he made in his1960's style track home. Robert attended Oroville Union High School and graduated in 1952. His family roots go back prior to the American Revolution . He proudly served his country in the US Navy aboard the USS Calvert during the Korean War. He worked for Aerojet-General in Folsom. He worked on the Titan Rockets, Thor Rockets, Ion Drive Motors, Jaydam Rocket Boosters, Thor-Ablestar, Army Hawk Launch System while at Aerojet General. Following the downsizing at Aerojet General, Robert found employment with D& L Automotive and later with the City of Roseville as a mechanic. He retired in 1994 from the City of Roseville,California. Visitation will be held on Thursday June 13th from 4-7- p.m. with Funeral Services to follow on Friday June 14th at 11:00 a.m. at Lambert Funeral Home Chapel, 400 Douglas Blvd, Roseville,California. Burial will follow on Thursday June 20th at 12:30 p.m. at the State Veterans Cemetery in Igo, California. We entrust your soul to Our Beloved God until his return
