

Lenzi, Robert, “Bob” passed peacefully in his sleep on February 4, 2011 at the age of 88. Born in Roseville on September 23, 1922, he served in the armed forces from October 22, 1942 to May 25, 1946. After retiring from Raley’s as a meat cutter, Bob enjoyed woodworking, gardening, dancing, traveling and his family. He is survived by his wonderful son Robert D. (Lynn), treasured grandchildren Chad, Monica (Zak), and Brooke, great grandchildren Marco, Gianna, and Rocco, sister Anita Hunt (Warren), brother Dean and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service for Bob will be held Monday, February 14, 11:00 am at Lambert Funeral Home, 400 Douglas Boulevard, Roseville, internment at noon at the Roseville Cemetery, 421 Berry Street, Roseville. A reception will follow immediately. The family would like to thank all those who assisted with his care and Sutter Hospice for their kindness and compassion throughout Bob’s journey. Military Honors will be rendered for his faithful service in the United States Coast Guard.
